It took feckin' ages and ages to make this sample pack.
It is useful for adding a really low-fi touch to your music. It shines for intro beats, accompanying breaks, fill-ins, and breakdowns.
In the example clips, all the drums are from this pack and not processed at all.
I am beyond broke so sadly will soon have to sell the RZ-1 to pay bills. If i can sell enough of this pack to make some $$$ then hopefully i can keep it. So cheers if you copped it, i appreciate the help !

THE CASIO RZ1

Drum machine with sampling, released in 1986.
A special feature for its time was sampling. To let you create up to four of your own percussion sounds. Or in this case,proper rudeboy jungle chops.
The sampling specs are really raw - 20kHz sample rate and only 0.2 seconds of sample time per sample .
The only edits you can do with your samples is a simple low-pass tone adjust.
Sampling starts automatically upon receiving an input, so there is a tiny attack to the sampled sounds.
Which means it is required to record it and cut it to be synced up manually, or just get really good at hitting play right on the money ; )

Anyway, of course all the loops in this pack are trimmed, as are the one shots to start precisely in time and with all the raw punch of a streets of rage right hook.
